Sara Hassan is an American journalist with expertise in the Middle East and South Asia.
She has worked at Al Jazeera since 2006, and has written for various newspapers and magazines. She obtained her Master's Degree from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, with a concentration in Television Broadcasting. Hassan has traveled to more than 20 countries. She has covered a wide range of global stories, including the inaugurations of Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump in Washington, DC, the Arab Spring from Doha, Qatar and Manama, Bahrain, garment industry workers in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Syrian refugees resettling in the United States. She has a wide range of skills across various media platforms, including broadcast, print, web, and photography. |
